How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Even though Booking confirmed our reservation, we were told upon arrival that the place was closed for months (winter) and they didn’t care about Booking’s confirmation. We cancelled, found another spot with Booking’s help, and got a refund, but it was a terrible waste of time and driving. The owners’ attitude was also disappointing.

Marianne and Roger gave an extremely warm reception. The ambience, the room and breakfast were superb. We would definitely stay there again. Everything was just fine, there are no negative points to mention.

We received a very friendly reception in German; the host, a Dutchwoman, speaks four languages. The very old villa has been beautifully renovated, with décor that matches the house style and tells many stories. The large room offers plenty of space, complemented by a comfortable bathroom with a drying option for wet clothes. The host herself played piano during the generous breakfast. The heartfelt, linguistically adept interaction allowed six people at the table to chat in German, French, and English. Nothing negative.

The place is unlikely and Marianne’s welcome is incredibly kind and caring. It’s not suitable for people who don’t speak English.
