“Does the job for Birders, Owner very helpful.”
Good Basic Birding accomodation & area, comfy beds, & good shower, breckies ok, served on Your balcony. Ok restaurants for dinner 10 mins walk. All ok, Thanks
“Highly recommended - a fantastic stay!”
A great spot for a bird‑watching trip! Even though the accommodation is far away—there are very few restaurants and no shops in the village—it is surprisingly comfortable and I loved the rooms. I hired Boontam for bird guiding the next day and he was absolutely fantastic—highly recommended. The bird hides at Rangbondoi are brilliant, drawing a nice range of birds, and breakfast was delicious too. The service is great and friendly; I’d love to come back. The location is a little remote, so come prepared!
“A Birdwatcher's Paradise”
We had a fantastic time at Rangbondoi, where the rustic cabins were the perfect fit for our nature-loving adventure. The highlight was definitely the guided birding walk with the owner, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us spot some amazing species, including the elusive pygmy cupwing. We also appreciated the peaceful setting, surrounded by rice fields and a traditional Karen village.
Perfect spot for bird watching.
“Birdwatching Paradise, But Communication Issues”
The chance to spot birds was the highlight of our stay, but unfortunately, communication with the owner was a bit of a challenge. We kept misunderstanding each other, which was frustrating.
