The hotel is very peaceful with nice rooms and great terrace views, though it sits on the far side of town from most activity; a short walk isn’t a problem if you’re willing.

The private room was spotless and the staff were very helpful, and everything is within walking distance, but the bathroom is small and the coffee shop is closed.

The terrace offers a view of the three volcanoes—Agua, Acatenango, and Fuego—and the hotel feels very cozy, close to the city’s attractions, with staff who are kind and attentive; they let us store our bags before check‑in. The breakfast starts at 8 am, which is late for early‑morning tours, but if you request it the previous afternoon they can provide an earlier option.
