The proximity to a beautiful beach is a plus. Nothing else.

The sheets were absolutely lovely and soft, and the bed was slightly softer than the usual twin beds. I had some of the best sleeps on the whole trip. The room was really clean, the location was fabulous, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Sometimes the shower filled with a bit of water and didn’t drain quickly, but that’s to be expected on the second floor. The breakfast was really good. I would’ve liked a Thai option, maybe congee or something, but the breakfast they offered was fresh and lovely. Pictures of the sunset were just a 1‑minute walk from the room.

The spot was close to restaurants, but the room stayed unclean for four days and felt like a beach with sand we had to bring back each time. There was no tap to rinse our feet at the base of the hotel, and the shower ran out of hot water on the last day. If you hit a snag, don’t expect a quick reply; the customer service vanished. Breakfast was tasty, yet a 50‑minute wait before service began was totally unacceptable and the staff moved at a snail’s pace.
