“Tolle Lage, schöne Anlage und sehr gutes Essen”
We stayed as a couple for several nights and felt very comfortable overall. We especially liked the quiet location in the northern part of the island directly at Turtle Beach, where you can see and swim with turtles. The hotel also has its own beach area with loungers for guests, which we found very pleasant. The pool and the entire beachside complex with seating are really nice. Our room was very clean and spacious, giving us plenty of room for our luggage, and the in‑room safe was handy. Breakfast was delicious, and the food at the hotel restaurant convinced us—we ate lunch there every day and especially enjoyed the vegetarian dishes. The value for money was good. All staff were always friendly and helpful. It was especially convenient that you could rent sandals, scooters, and bicycles directly from the hotel; we rented a scooter and it worked smoothly. We were a bit disappointed with the towel policy. While we understand that, for environmental reasons, towels are only changed every two days, each person received only one large shower towel and a very small mini towel. A medium‑sized towel for hands or hair would have been very useful. Moreover, the towels were not automatically changed after two days because we didn’t leave them on the floor that day. We would have liked them to be changed after the scheduled period regardless. We also wanted a clearer solution for drinking water. The room has filtered water in glass bottles, but we weren’t sure how it was filled, so we bought supermarket water instead. At the beach, water was served in larger glass carafes; we personally preferred sealed bottles.
