Had a bit of a dodgy start - the front door wouldn't close properly, so I couldn't even lock it. Not ideal, but at least the rest of the place was okay.

This place is bang in the centre, which is super convenient. The room was clean and had all the basics - fridge, microwave, and crockery. Yeah, it's a bit old, but it didn't feel terrible or anything.

Honestly, the place had nothing going for it except that it existed, but the state of disrepair and filth was just shocking. Everything was disgusting and dirty, it was like they hadn't done any maintenance in ages. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.

Check-in was a disaster, room wasn't ready and no one was around to help. The bathroom was horrendous, no toilet paper provided - I had to go out and buy some. The room itself was a letdown, no working light and it felt like they didn't care.

I never actually stayed here, but the lack of communication was pretty unbelievable. I tried to contact them about checking in late and cancelling, but no one got back to me.
