I had to cancel at the last minute without any prior notice, which was disappointing for a brand like Zostel that I had higher hopes for.

The room was good and spacious, the bathroom was also good, and food was available. Parking was limited and street parking was risky. There were few activities and it didn’t feel like other Zostels. The cafeteria lacked air conditioning and was very sweaty even with the fans. The Friendzone area could have been larger with more gaming options.

The staff were very helpful and gave us a free upgrade because my partner and I had last‑minute issues that made us extend our stay. They understood our situation and let us keep the room we originally booked instead of moving, which eased a lot of stress since we’re new to Mumbai. The amenities were good, making it a great place for a comfortable, quaint stay.

The vibe and food were good, but the room wasn’t clean and there was dampness on the wall.

I met very friendly staff who were incredibly helpful, and I’d definitely recommend this place to others; it was my first stay at Zostel and I was a bit sceptical but had fun…
