The view of Loch Eyre is stunning, and the area is very quiet and peaceful, far from the tourist crowds in Portree, making for a tranquil stay on the Isle. Breakfast was excellent, and the common area is a lovely place to sit and read. The only downside was the room being smaller than expected.

A small place with a friendly welcome. The lounge was nice, overlooking the water with comfortable sofas, and it was shared with others, which was fine. However, the fireplace never lit up, so the “hygge” was missing. We didn’t get breakfast because it closed at 9:00 am. The location is a 15‑minute drive from Portree, so you need to plan dinner since restaurants close early; after a long day of sightseeing, it’s not worth another drive into town.

We enjoyed a lovely 2‑night stay at Loch Eyre House. The accommodations were great, and the front lounge offered a nice spot with a fantastic view of the water. Breakfast was also very good!
