“Good value, comfortable for short stay if you don't mind being a few miles from Exeter city centre”
Very clean room. Daily housekeeping was immaculate. Twin room was of a really ample size. The breakfast option was only a cooked Full English buffet selection daily - no option for lighter choices
I lost some items while there and they weren’t handed in either.
“Ace”
Breakfast was good, the room was clean, and everything else was fine. Outside, both the carpark and the path around the building looked a bit scruffy and run down, and there was a weird smell in the corridor outside our room, a few stairs down after the dog‑leg.
“Ok, but could have been better”
The room was clean and tidy, but the bathroom had a slight odor and there was no staff at reception to check me in, so I had to search around for someone to help.
“Convenient for one night and comfy bed.”
Breakfast was a novelty with the Yorkshire pudding and the price was more than affordable. The bed was exceptionally comfy, the bathroom very clean and modern, and the staff were really nice; it does the job for one or two nights. However, the fixtures and fittings in the room were crooked and seemed ready to fall off, the light fittings were pushed into the ceiling creating cavities, the runner on the bed had oil stains like a Yorkshire pudding had been left there for a day, the radiator pipes made the room hot even when the radiator was off, and the corridor smelled very bad – all of which need deep cleaning. That was the room.
