“Good stop on hwy 97.”
Getting back to Vancouver was easy with short walking distance to food and other shops. Nothing to add.

The rooms are always spacious, safe, and easily accessible.

Nothing special. There was no maintenance and no staff to handle issues; the curtains were broken, the bathroom overflowed, the hotel was old, prices were high, and customer support was too slow.

The rooms were huge, and it was nice to have direct access to the green space behind the hotel, which helped bring the puppy out and get to the pool area. The staff were polite and smiling. The two outdoor hot tubs were okay, but they’re very small for such a large property with many guests during peak season—sports teams, families, tourists, you name it—so imagine the wait to get a turn. The location was nice and accessible, and there were some nearby shops for last‑minute needs. However, for a family or anyone wanting to relax, I’d consider other comparable properties. In our view, the value of what we paid for three nights wasn’t well matched. The pet‑friendly rooms aren’t bookable through the usual channels; they just say they’re pet‑friendly. You have to call the hotel after booking (or even before) to confirm a pet‑friendly room is still available. We stayed for three nights over a long weekend. Another surprise was that all first‑floor pet‑friendly rooms lack a microwave. This is the first—and hopefully only—hotel we’ve been to that doesn’t have a microwave in a room. When we asked, we were told only suites have one, so if you want something warmed up, you have to bring it to the front desk each time. The staff said it wasn’t an inconvenience for them, but it is for guests, and it takes time because they have to heat it downstairs in the staff area/kitchen. It’s a bit concerning that someone else handles your food. We have children and a pet with dietary needs, so this was disappointing. On our second night, the A/C stopped working, and the kids couldn’t sleep because it was warm; the staff brought an electric fan that eventually helped. Housekeeping left dirty face towels on the bathroom counter; they replenished the other towels but seemed to forget the dirty ones, which looked like small rags used to clean surfaces—definitely not the face towels we used. The floor wasn’t cleaned well; we still saw debris and dust. Lastly, the indoor pool needs proper cleaning and maintenance—the water was obviously icky (salty, yuck). We didn’t stay as long as we planned, so the kids were a bit upset.

I could walk to some restaurants and stores. My balcony was tiny and I should’ve known it faced the parking lot. There was no choice in pillows, they were too big and fluffy, so I got a sore neck. There were no movies on the TV, and it took a while to figure out how to use the remote.
