The house had a lot of charm and the owner was very friendly. As is common in Thailand, we entered the accommodation without street shoes, but I was also not allowed to wear my flip‑flops, which I use indoors for hygiene reasons. The accommodation did not provide slippers. Regardless, the floor was not clean, especially the bathroom, which made me feel uncomfortable. Because of the old construction, the room offered limited privacy. The window faced the interior of the house, so when opened, other residents could see in. There was no air conditioning. In the tropical climate, the stay was hard to endure, so I could not stay more than one night and was exhausted the next day. At that point, I didn’t realize how strongly I react to the climate without air conditioning. Since then, we deliberately look for accommodations with air conditioning.

The house was an original 100‑year‑old Thai house, and nothing was negative.

Everything was fine for the price, but the male owner was rude to me, which I can’t understand.

The place was very clean and well decorated. The owner spoke good English and was super nice. The location was perfect—markets and restaurants were just a 5‑minute walk away. Nothing negative.
