How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The meals were tasty, though, as many others have said, it took a while for everything to arrive, but when it did it was delicious. Being an American, I felt it was safe enough. Lots of locals in the area rely on tourism. The beach salespeople are very insistent that you hand over your money; it’s typical, but it can be annoying when you’re trying to enjoy a romantic getaway.

It was cute and beautiful. We weren’t allowed to check in early, which I understand, but when we left for an excursion at 7:00 am they told us they were putting our bags in the room! That shocked us because we had to sleep in the coach. Usually hotels allow early check‑in or ask you to pay a reasonable fee, but they wanted us to pay for a full night. Another issue: when we wanted to relax, three hotel workers came and asked if we were staying there, but I didn’t see other foreigners being asked the same question multiple times. Maybe it’s a policy, but it was annoying.

Top beach location – rooms with sea view – very attentive and friendly staff – clean white sandy beach right outside the door – good food. Nothing negative.

The gardens were magnificent and well maintained. It’s a very small place with only a handful of rooms and a few huts, so it feels very nice and peaceful. The staff was amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. The food was varied and freshly made. A live band and/or singers performed in the outdoor bar area most evenings. They partner with an external tour company to offer many great activities, but those are pricey with no clear added value for such a high price.
