The spot was spot on for tourists—good food and restaurants were just a short walk away. The facilities fell short, though, with only one shared bathroom that had a hot water heater and another that only offered a cold shower. My room faced the street, so the traffic noise made it hard to sleep.
Overall, I was very satisfied.
The staff were kind, but I found bed bugs.

Getting to nearby amenities, the town centre and the railway station was a breeze. I was the only guest in my room when a ‘hidden’ hand stole my original laptop adapter, a traumatic event after years of staying here.

I’m living here very comfortably and quietly. My roommate is also very quiet. The entire hostel is clean, comfortable, and tidy. The person managing the place right now is an Egyptian brother who’s also traveling across Asia. He’s a really nice person and very handsome. All the Egyptians I’ve met in Malaysia are amazing. I love Egypt and I love Egyptians.
