Our room covered every need we had. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and we enjoyed every interaction with the owners. The beds were not very comfortable, and the bathroom was tiny, fitting only one of us.

Unlike the business hotel, this place has a great Taisho‑retro vibe and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The breakfast, made with natural ingredients, felt gentle on the body and was good. The air‑conditioner sounded odd, perhaps because it was old. Moving to the second‑floor room required stairs only, but that isn’t a major complaint when considering the hotel’s overall feel.

The room was very cozy (almost an apartment), with beautiful Japanese‑style furniture and a garden. Breakfast was gourmet—almost like lunch—and the hospitality was warm. It’s very close to the city’s main tourist sites (just a 5‑minute walk). No complaints.
