The view was beautiful.

I already liked saunas, and after working out I’d go to the sauna, but nothing beats a natural sauna setting… it was a sublime place. I thought it might be good for a summer stay. In winter, the first cold bath after the sauna was too harsh, but as I kept doing the set, I felt a refreshing warmth more than usual. The swimsuits were cute, the ponchos came in three colors, and that lifted my mood; the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I enjoyed the sauna from the evening and again in the morning. At night the starry sky was visible, and in the morning the air felt crisp! My daughter, who is about to turn five, was there too; while we were in the sauna, she stayed in the room or came to the sauna. Hearing the room’s sounds from the sauna was reassuring. From the moment she arrived, she was super excited and chatty, more than usual. After the sauna, the meal was the best; bringing beer is a must! We grilled pork outside. Next time I’d like to try the optional food selections. I would have liked one more type of aroma.

When I checked in, the room’s heating was already on and warm, and the view and facilities were good. It was great, but it would have been even better if soy sauce had been available as a seasoning.

The mountain view from the large windows in the room was spectacular, and a walk outside under the starry sky felt wonderful. Cooking over a wood stove and then reheating the food on the indoor IH stove struck a perfect balance between nature and comfort. The experience of splitting firewood and starting a fire gave a real sense of living in nature, making it unforgettable. The neighboring ski resort was still closed, so next time I’ll stay for a ski trip.
