“Quirky but not worth the price. The outdoor bathtubs where cool.”
The ‘caravan’‑style room was cute, and the outdoor bathtubs were exactly what we booked for, plus the nature didn’t disappoint. However, it sits right behind a function centre, so I expected more seclusion. The shower’s hot water was an issue, and you had to climb over the table to move from the bed to the kitchen area. It’s more of a destination stay, so a bit quirky is expected, but management was the biggest let‑down. The manager wasn’t very friendly, and I never received the email explaining the booking. When we arrived I felt she was only focused on that instead of welcoming us, which was disappointing for a special stay. I understand running a restaurant and function centre is stressful, but if you’re offering accommodation it should be more welcoming. The accommodation feels like a side thought; they should have a dedicated manager for that section to greet guests. It felt like we were checking into a bar venue and it was more of a hassle than a guest experience.
