The room was really nice, cozy, and had a local vibe with full comfort of the bed. The family host was welcoming and friendly, and they offer 4 banana pancakes every morning. The homestay is well placed next to the Pergasingan hill and Bukit Selong, and it’s a must-see.

The owner is very nice, and coffee and tea are always available. The property is quite aged, and the bathroom is functional but definitely very tired.

The rooms were clean and fine. Breakfast is good and the host is friendly. However, the room is only about 5 sqm, so a large suitcase takes up a huge part of the space. The bathroom is separate and has no sink. It’s suitable for a short stay, but for longer stays we wouldn’t recommend it. The only real downsides were the transfers. We arranged two transfers in advance. The first one from Tetebatu was completely forgotten, and only after calling another driver was it arranged, adding an hour of waiting time. The second transfer to Bangsal was 20‑30 min late, even though we checked the day before that everything was arranged. This could have been worse if we had a tight schedule to catch a ferry. Despite all that, the transfers were the most expensive and the cars were the worst (no AC, very uncomfortable seats).

We liked the staff and the cleanliness of the room. Our room was on the edge of the road and the walls were very thin, so we heard all the road noise, not to mention the mosque at 5 am…

The family running this guesthouse is simply adorable. The owner is extremely kind and will do everything to accommodate and help you with anything. Breakfast is very good, and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. I recommend it!
