“Fint”

The location was fine, but the power didn’t work in the sockets and the rooms were pretty dark.

“Great value, basic but satisfactory”

The room was spacious with a comfy bed and an optional mosquito net. The bathroom was large, featuring a mirror and a towel rail, and each room also had a water dispenser, which is very handy. You can rent pedal bikes for 50,000 rp per day. The hotel is very close to the pier and a short walk away. However, the reception is often unstaffed, though they provide a contact number for assistance. The place is a moderate walk to the western restaurants and beach clubs if that’s what you’re after.

“Chaotic night”

The location is convenient, close to the beach. The staff are friendly, and the owners have cute kids. We rented bikes and had our laundry done. The bathroom ceiling leaks when it rains, even a little. While sitting on the toilet, water drips onto the neck. There were cockroaches, millipedes, and carpet beetles in the bathroom, all seeming to flood in during rain. The bathroom door is broken, letting you lock yourself inside. The staff warned about this, but perhaps they could fix it. The nearby mosque’s call to prayer is constantly loud, even from 4 am, lasting a minute and a half. The outlets either don’t work at all or hang half‑off and give shocks.
