“Ich empfehle es gern weiter!”
The location was excellent, with a beautiful view of the forest and sea through the large windows. It was quiet even though it’s close to the street, and the sea sound was very soothing. Firewood was included in the price and the wood stove was cozy. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The large fridge was handy. Ton’s written recommendations on where to shop in the area were very useful; thanks to him we discovered a wonderful “General Store” (The Other cupboard) selling healthy local products. We cooked all our meals ourselves and found that the available pots and pans could have been better—there was only one very small and one very large pot, and the Teflon coating was scratched. More utensils and sharper knives would be nice. The lighter was empty, and we had to buy our own matches that also burned. Overall the house is well equipped, but a few more shelves, storage spaces, or hooks for clothes would improve longer stays.
