A fantastic hotel with an excellent restaurant that serves its own game dishes. The family really cares about the wine selection, especially when it comes to the aperitifs, where they focus on decent sparkling wine. I enjoyed both the food and the night and was able to relax and feel energized to continue hiking the beautiful Spessart the next morning.

They were responsive to special requests, served a tasty breakfast, and the owner couple were very friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast was balanced and plentiful, and they repeatedly asked if everything was okay. The sausage and jam seemed homemade, the cheese and rolls were tasty, and juice was also provided. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean—short and sweet, what more could you want?

The welcome and subsequent treatment as a guest were wonderful. The stay was very pleasant and friendly without being intrusive. The food—especially breakfast—is worth the trip on its own.
