The breakfast was cool, comfortable, and good, yet I arrived at 1 am after my flight, was told to leave at 1 am even though I had booked from the day before, and was sent to their sister hotel to return at 2 pm the next day with no transport offered, just a general direction and no explanation for the move.

“Military like rules and soldier like staff at check in”

I liked the proximity to my conference venue, but almost everything was a problem: a rigid check‑in policy, a semi‑tight wristband I had to wear all day, a kitchen that wasn’t meant for cooking (which was why I chose an apartment), loud music and live bands playing until midnight, rooms without ceiling fans or air‑conditioning in temperatures above 25 °C, no visitors or friends allowed in my room, and many other issues.
