The water pump is slow, it can’t wash with little water, and there are no cleaning brushes.

Dilan is a very welcoming host who gave me many tips for my stay in Jaffna, thank you :) The location is good, the city centre is reachable on foot or a short TukTuk ride, and there are all kinds of shops nearby. You can refill fresh drinking water anytime. The facilities are a bit dated and the bathroom wasn’t very clean.

“Pensavo meglio”

The common area is nice. Tea and coffee are available. The internet doesn’t work, and the outlet in the room is faulty. The location is inconvenient for anyone who wants to explore the city.

The place sits in a quiet spot a bit out of town, yet everything is still easy to get to. The balcony is lovely and a great escape from the hot midday sun. The host family is very friendly and helpful. However, the beds were noticeably too short for me (1.78) and the mattress was very thin. Because there was no air conditioning—just a fan—the room was sweltering at night.
