The hotel is a block from the subway line and a big road, so the room is very quiet, and it’s close to Kawaramachi Station, making it easy to catch the airport bus. Walking to the Kawaramachi shopping area is also nearby. There isn’t a convenience store right next to the hotel, but there are several close to the shopping area, so that’s not a problem. If you’re a traveler who likes to walk, you can stroll from the shopping area to Tamamo Park to the ferry terminal at a relaxed pace. Walking straight to the ferry terminal takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The bus to Yume Town can also be caught from a nearby stop. The rooms and building were clean overall and well organized. At the first‑floor lobby, you have to take off your shoes and leave them in the shoe rack; if you’re traveling with several pairs of shoes, this could be inconvenient, but if you only wear one pair of sneakers, the cleanliness is appreciated. I was surprised to see a multi‑story guesthouse from the photos, but it was actually a three‑story house with a door on each room, used as an Airbnb; the house is small, the stairs are steep and narrow, and there was no mention of an elevator, so I was very surprised when I arrived. The only way to contact the host was a local phone number; I wanted to ask if they could hold my luggage in advance, but that was not possible. There was no guidance on how to receive new towels or on the cleaning service, so I had to use the same towel for the 3 nights and 4 days (each person was provided one face towel and one bath towel). On the day I was leaving late, I met a staff member and was able to request new towels (the staff member was very friendly). All the empty rooms had their doors open, so I could see inside while going up the stairs; the single room looked fairly spacious, but the twin room on the third floor that we used had a bathroom, toilet, and sink inside the room, but the bathroom was covered with a curtain in front of the shower, and there were no towel hooks, so we used a spare hanger to hang towels on the door.
