The facilities were great – a hair dryer, a small fridge and a TV – the room was beautifully clean, the staff were pleasant and they let me swap towels and take out the trash every two days; the hotel’s location was also fantastic with restaurants and shops everywhere. Minor issues included no proper towel hook in the bathroom and a missing toilet brush.

Walking distance to Guo Hua Street, Hai An Road, and Shen Nong Street, Hai An Road had a lot of bars, and on the way to Shen Nong Street I saw many cats – a city with cats is awesome. However, a guest was caught smoking in the room.

The accommodation was well‑located, with FamilyMart, PX Mart, and 7‑11 right next to the hotel, and many beautiful tea shops, restaurants and bars on Hai An Road within walking distance. The bathroom was awful: the door had a hole, shower water flooded, and the bathtub was very dirty. In the middle of the night, strange noises woke us up, and even more bizarre was a “do not enter” sign on the opposite room’s door; the 6th‑floor room felt inexplicably eerie. The next morning I reported it to staff, who only apologized with no compensation; staying here after a day of exploring felt off.

The place looked clean, but the room seemed to have mosquitoes or fleas; when I woke up I had two big swollen bites, so maybe they should regularly fumigate rooms with water vapor insecticide.
