Everything was disappointing: upon arrival they demanded extra taxes that never appeared on the booking page (the price shown was supposed to include all taxes and fees), the rooms and facilities look worn and the photos, especially of the bathroom, are misleading, you have to pay extra to use most of the restaurants otherwise you’re stuck with the buffets and three sub‑par eateries, the pool‑side bars close in the afternoon and the remaining two don’t stay open past 23:00 and won’t serve another drink within an hour of closing – which is annoying when you’re only two people and the place is busy, the food in the restaurants is plain and the buffet fare is downright awful, the atmosphere is nowhere near what it used to be, and they tried to charge me the cost of a full night (about $140) for a late checkout at 5 am.
