The staff were very nice and helpful, and the manager and manager’s wife know the Pitztal well and can give great advice to hikers.

“Angenehmer Aufenthalt mitten in den Bergen”

We had a nice, relaxed stay in Wald, Pitztal. The Flir family was super welcoming and always happy to give us tips about the area. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and dinner was consistently tasty. It would have been handy to have a small fridge in the room for chilled drinks after the bar closed, and a bit more space for dog food – though we appreciated being able to store it in the kitchen fridge.

“Siamo stati benissimo, torneremo!”

The staff were always kind and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The location is super quiet, surrounded by greenery. If you love outdoor sports, there are plenty of MTB trails, hiking paths, and road bike routes, plus ski lifts that take you up to over 3,000 meters – a real ski paradise. About an hour’s drive away you can visit Innsbruck or Neuschwanstein Castle. The only downside was that the bathroom felt a bit cramped.
