“Ganz okay”

Late check‑in and late check‑out were both uncomplicated. It was very clean and well‑located, everything within walking distance. Parking was also hassle‑free, and the Wi‑Fi was good. The rooms and bathrooms were very small, with torn and spotted towels (new ones were provided upon request). Breakfast consisted only of packaged items. The bed was sagging, and one pillow was very uncomfortable and needed replacement. It was also very noisy from the street. Overall, it felt a bit too little for the high price.

“Great for our short stay in Scilla”

Giusy was fantastic! She picked us up from the train station and helped us settle in. Breakfast was included—a selection of pastries, cereals, yoghurts, and juices—more than enough for us. The location was great, close to the piazza in the old town and the lift to the beach (if you don’t want to walk up and down the stairs). Perfect for our short stay to explore Scilla.

The owner was available for all needs and provided information about places, car parking, and beaches. The area is quiet, very convenient for getting to and moving around Scilla, and it’s easy to find street parking near the property. Restaurants are, however, along the long sea or in Chianalea, where you can descend with the elevator if it works, on foot through the stairs, or by car. Pillows and beds are comfortable and clean, rooms are simple and functional. The suite consists of two separate rooms with an external bathroom on the landing of the stairs (the floor is exclusively for that purpose). The windows let in any noise. Breakfast is entirely self‑service, which should be noted at booking; the coffee machine was leaking water and the choice was only packaged sweet products. Even though the bathroom was clean, it would need modernization.

“Bon séjour”

The suite is a little gem… Comfortable beds, a beautiful bathroom, and especially a self‑service breakfast (coffee, cakes, fruit juice, yoghurts, water), a washing machine available, and a small terrace to have coffee in the morning. The dream! I regret not meeting the host of this beautiful establishment to thank her, and the steep climb from the train station to reach the hotel in full heat.
