Well‑located, clean, and good value for money. The room lacked a desk, which is crucial for business travelers, and the outlets were so old that you couldn’t plug in a laptop.

Everything was fine: the room was large, the bathroom very clean and basic, the owner was very friendly and helpful, and the central location was great. However, there were many steep stairs to reach the room, and the street was too noisy at night.

The hotel sits right in the city centre, but the entrance is through a narrow gate. The room on the attic floor is reached by very steep stairs, and it was freezing; the heating only ran for a few hours. At 3 pm a polar chill hit the attic room, the heater was off and the temperature dropped to 12 °C. In the bathroom the heating was also off, making a shower almost impossible. I called Fabio, the owner, who came right away and turned the heating back on in a moment. After midnight the temperature fell to 10 °C and the heater was off again; the timer showed it was switched off from midnight onward. I slept at four in a cold night until the heater finally kicked back on. I travel a lot, even abroad, and this was the first time I had to ask for heating. Breakfast was not included.

The place is super central, with a parking spot right under the building—though it’s forbidden, it works perfectly. The setup is minimal but efficient, and the manager is friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have a small chair and a couple of coat hangers or towel hooks.
