“Very Well Appointed Studio”

A very well-appointed little studio in the heart of Castellamare di Stabia, just a short walk from the station. The studio has been completely remodelled and looks very tasteful. Everything you need for a short stay is there: coffee and tea facilities, a fridge (thoughtfully stocked with basics) and even an air fryer. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom and shower are excellent (I loved the coffee percolator tap!). Communication was excellent, and the owner explained everything to us when we arrived. Nice to see an actual person in these days of key boxes and codes! All in all, our stay could not have been better. The only downside was the steep flight of stone stairs to get to the studio, but that didn’t bother us.

“Beste Lage”

Great location: a few minutes on foot to the train station, the bus to Bomerano, the ferry, the Lungomare, and many restaurants. I communicated with the landlord Angelica via WhatsApp: very friendly, and the apartment hand‑over was done personally by her father. The apartment is very lovingly decorated. Everything you need is there: bed, small table, mini‑kitchen, bathroom. When you enter the building through the damaged door and the dilapidated stairwell, you can’t imagine that a pretty apartment hides behind it. The “Suite with balcony” is a small room with a balcony door (French balcony). We could never open that balcony door because the street noise was loud at all times of day and night (despite the sound‑proof door), and even with earplugs the sleep was affected. The bed: mattress was sagging, and sweating was caused by a rubber pad under the sheet. The “breakfast” was self‑served: coffee pods and a basket of pre‑packed sweets (cookies, croissants) were available. Since we left very early and there were many bars around for breakfast, that wasn’t a big deal for us.

“Tout a été parfait”

Everything was perfect. The welcome from the adorable Angelica, the cleanliness of the place, its décor, and its strategic location near the beach and the train station. I highly recommend it.

Central location, cozy room, very helpful and kind host. I’ve been coming back to this place for two years and it’s always comfortable, like being at home… I’ll come back again. Highly recommended!
