The breakfast at Starbucks was too expensive, though the service was great and the coffee was excellent. The price was the main issue compared to what we were used to at Courtyard by Marriott. We stayed here because of the location for our doctors appointment at Texas Back Institute. We love Starbucks coffee, but the meal was just too pricey.

The place was very peaceful, yet there were too many birds flying low and the floors on the 3rd felt unsafe to walk on.

The location was fine, but the place was dirty; we paid $200 for one night and had to pay an extra $20 for breakfast. The electrical outlets by the bed were broken, the body wash hadn’t been refilled, and the freezer needed defrosting. There was only one regular coffee pod. The hotel is old and trying to renovate, yet there are better and cheaper options nearby; the Courtyard Inn elsewhere has a much higher standard. Go elsewhere.

We didn’t buy breakfast, and none was included with the room; a continental breakfast could be added to the rate. The room was too expensive, and this was the third time the pool was closed, which was the main reason we booked to swim. The hotel should inform guests that the pool is closed before booking. My grandson was upset because he couldn’t swim. Rates should be lower when the pool is closed. The room wasn’t very clean, the beds were very tall and uncomfortable, and short older people might struggle to get on them.

The staff were rude, the carpet floors were dirty, the hallway and elevator were very hot, and the fridge didn’t stay very cold.
