“Nice place to stay overall”

We booked five rooms for a nearby wedding and the property was nicely decorated with easy access and good amenities, but there was no staff on site. One room’s air conditioning failed late in the evening; I called the property number, the emergency line, and sent texts, yet received no response until the next morning. The room stayed unbearably hot all night, but the staff apologized the following day and offered a refund for that room, which I appreciated. Aside from that hiccup, we liked the place and would stay again if the chance arose.

“Exactly what we wanted. A unique hotel experience in the middle of everything, walking distance. So comfortable and rela”

We slept in the Martha, a cute little room with a very comfortable bed and luxurious linens, and the robes were incredibly soft. The room stayed dark at night, which we loved, and the sparkling water tap was a nice touch. The only downside was that it was on the fourth floor with no elevator.

The rooms at this hotel are outstanding in detail, décor, and fixtures. Our room had an extremely high ceiling and was large and spacious, and the location is very good. The only small drawback was that our room had no windows, something I didn’t consider when booking, but it didn’t bother us much.

“The Guild House is a well-kept centrally located historic property w very attentive staff and comfortable accommodations”

The hotel is close to restaurants and historic sites, but the parking lot is noisy on weekend nights.
