“super”
The spot is gorgeous and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, though the room could use an air‑con. Everything else was perfect.

The gîte sits about 3 km on foot from Sainte‑Mère‑l’Église, in a quirky little village ideal for walking or cycling; the owners give great advice on activities and restaurants.

Breakfast was tasty and they catered to our lactose‑free and gluten‑free needs, but there could have been more fruit; the stairs were a bit of a hassle.

The breakfast was perfect, hearty, varied and homemade; the welcome was excellent and the location quiet and ideal, though the room could use a bit more storage.

The hotel feels very family‑friendly and is close to many historic sites, set in a peaceful town for strolling; the room was pleasant, they offer an electric car charger, and the breakfast is superb in a beautiful setting, but the narrow, steep stairs make it hard to carry luggage and the high, narrow windows block outside views.
