Pod - I booked this place for a recharge - bascailly, to have my own space and quiet without having to book an entire room. The design of the hostel is fun in that I like Sci-fi; and the pod itself is one of the more spacious pods I've used in a pod hotel/hostel. There's space to put your things in a locker and also space to put your larger luggage to the side. The staff let me enter at 9am to leave my bags before returning later at 2pm to check in. Location - Nicely situation near the restaurant and wine street, main attractions, a metro station and some decent supermarket shops. Security - Everything felt secure here. I overheard one guest wasn't actually given the card to enter the building. So, each time, he had to use the online walkie talkie system. He was only given a card to his pod. So, maybe a bit too secure if some guests can't actually enter the building easily themselves!. Kitchen - The listing is incorrect in what the hostel offers. There is no fully-equiped kitchen - just a microwave, a sink and a small fridge. I choose accommodation that I can cook in. You cannot cook here. Payment - The staff also lie about card payments - it says "card payment" online, there are stickers on the entry door, and there is a working card machine. However, every guest is told the machine isn't working. Previous reviews corroborate this and multiple guests were told this while I was there. Guests are directed to take out cash. The card machine works fine - I had a look at it while the staff were away. Atmosphere - There is room for 16 guests but a handful are there long term and literally ignore you. I spoke to a few other solo travellers but this place that the vibe of a library rather than a place people use while travelling. Staff - While I was grateful to be let in early via an online walkie talkie system when the staff were out, other guests struggled with getting contact while the staff were out. When the staff were there, they projected this demeanour that they hated their jobs and gave everything 5% effort. I asked about recommendations and was told "there are restaurants around". Lighting - The constant blue lighting can be quite blinding! Air flow in the pods - I had to sleep with my pod open most of the time because it was quite hot inside. Bathrooms - There are 2 bathrooms for up to 16 guests to share. One had a blocked drain and the water went everywhere. The other has a broken toilet seat and a broken bum gun. Smell - There's a strange lingering light sewage smell in this place. Probably caused by the blocked drain in one of the bathrooms. Fridge - There's one small fridge which is too small. Also, there's no labelling system for the food and I am sure that lots of the food is from guests that have since departed this space ship. There's also a giant, un-used fridge
