“Muy buena experiencia”
The place was spotless, comfy and right in the middle of everything. Armen, the owner, was friendly and always on hand to help. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it.

Armen is a fantastic host and the place has everything you need, which makes things easy. The streets in Tatev are beautiful, but if you don’t have a 4x4 you’re better off parking outside and walking in.

Staying here feels like being part of the family – the owners live on‑site and the rooms, though small, are tidy and comfortable. It's a short walk up from the monastery and breakfast is generous. The only hassle is the gravel road full of potholes leading to the place; with a low‑clearance car we had to crawl over it and there’s no sign on the street, so we relied on a local to point us in.

The owner makes his own wine, so you can sample and even buy a bottle straight from the source – a nice personal touch. The only drawback was the shower, which kept fluctuating between too hot and too cold, making it hard to find a comfortable temperature.
