The owners were LOVELY!!! They gave me a special breakfast, kept checking if I was happy or needed anything else, the rooms were clean and comfy, the location is great—right next to a fantastic restaurant in an old monastery—and the price was great too!

The owners were incredibly welcoming and even let us park our motorbikes in the garage, which was a huge help. Breakfast was a massive spread—lots of salami, ham, cheeses, yogurt, eggs, jams, Nutella, honey, pâté and a huge tea selection, though we wished there’d been a bit more fresh veg. Having a Spar grocery store right next door made grabbing supplies a breeze. The only drawback is the house sits right by the main road, so with a window cracked at night you can hear traffic.

The town was charming and the room came spotless, while the staff were both helpful and upbeat. We especially liked the solid breakfast that kept us fueled each morning. All in all, everything ran smoothly and the stay felt very comfortable.
