How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Breakfast was overly basic with very few options; there were no eggs, and the only bread choices were toast and banana bread, which was also missing on our third day. The bathroom was cramped and old, and there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste.

Kate and Bruey, along with their great team, make this ski lodge feel like home. We stayed a week and loved the hospitality, the cozy cocktail bar or lounge at night, the tasty dinners, and the cloud‑like beds. Underfloor heating keeps the rooms warm and the showers hot, while the renovated interior gives a retro vibe complete with a vinyl lounge—yes, actual vinyl records, not a vinyl‑covered lounge. The view from the dining area, looking out over snow‑covered trees, is stunning day and night. We’re already planning to return next year.

The Bruey’s snow lodge is a real treasure. Kate and Bruey went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, answering every question with warmth and great help. The rooms were super comfortable, with décor and amenities that made us feel relaxed and cozy. Each evening we enjoyed the three chill‑out spots with cocktails or hot chocolate. The lodge is only a short walk from the nearest chairlift, making it super convenient for hitting the slopes.

Kate and Bruey are incredible hosts who work tirelessly to ensure guests enjoy their stay. Weeks before arrival, Kate was extremely helpful, recommending restaurants, booking transport, securing lift passes, and sending rental links. Tangram/Madarao offered a hidden gem of fun ski routes, no lines, and the best mountain restaurant between lifts. Brueys is a special place I hope to return to someday. Thank you, Kate and Bruey, for a memorable stay—highly recommend.
