The location was convenient, close to Tanah Rata Town, yet the hotel’s condition was very old, the facilities and the room looked worn out—time for a refurbishment.

Everything was comfortable, just a few minor issues; this is my fifth or sixth stay at Cool Point. The car‑park area needs more lighting, the bedsheets could be higher quality, and toilet cleanliness could improve, but overall it’s fine with a slight tweak.
