How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Checking in was very easy; you received a code for the door and the room. This also meant I could leave for the airport at 3 am the next day without any trouble or having to return a key. The location was great—10 min from Flybus and 7 min from the church. Unfortunately, the room doors can slam loudly if you’re not careful, so it was important to wear earplugs if you go to bed early.

It’s within walking distance to the city center. The room was very small; we stayed in cottage B.

Very well placed for walking to the city center; parking is easy. The shared kitchen is good. The double bed was a bit slanted. There was one bathroom and toilet for six rooms on our floor, which was a bit tight.

The staff were friendly and caring, and the structure is very well located. The only downside was the smell from the sink water.

The place is close to Reykjavik’s center. The room isn’t really nice or charming—just a place to sleep. I’d call it a youth hostel rather than a guesthouse. Too many people share one small toilet and bathroom; I think four rooms shared one toilet and one bathroom :-(
