The room was large, clean, with a hearty breakfast and a little local flavor (bundas bread). The setting is on the Balaton lake shore with access to the public beach. Outside, there’s a small pool, jacuzzi, and sauna for relaxation. Flowers and shrubs line the paths. The exterior furnishings and finishes of the two buildings are lacking; although the inner courtyard is spacious and offers outdoor relaxation and activities, everything feels a bit old and unkempt. Wooden decorative elements and wooden flooring are cracked, paint is flaked, and outdoor paving is degraded or unevenly replaced, despite the architecture being nice.
