“Pleasant stay”
The location was spot on for everything we wanted to do. The room felt minimalist yet roomy and spotless, and the bed and pillows were a treat. The shower was nice and there was plenty of storage. A microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge were all there, but the instant coffee fell flat; at least they stocked cream in the fridge, which was considerate. Parking under cover cost $15 a day, which worked well for us. We were within walking distance to Ruthven St. Check‑in and check‑out were hassle‑free and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
At check‑in, it would have helped if the staff mentioned the breakfast hours and the Wi‑Fi password. Having only one key per room was inconvenient because each of us had different plans and destinations. The car‑park signage to the second level was lacking; we saw large SUVs drive all the way to the end of the first floor before realizing it was a dead end, which makes maneuvering difficult with today’s car sizes. Finally, the $30 breakfast credit was not clearly explained—uncertain whether it’s per person or per room—and ordering beyond that requires extra payment. When a room is booked “with breakfast,” the expectation is that breakfast is included without extra cost.
