The ambience was comfy, bright, and offered beautiful vistas; the indoor braai and seating areas made for a great family get‑together. The only downsides were the gravel road distance and the low shower pressure.

I was excited to experience farm life, the calmness, and the chance to dip into the river’s cool water. However, we weren’t told about the harvester noise that kept playing until 22h00 that night and the next day; only on day 3 did it quiet down, which was quite annoying.

The house is very spacious with everything you need. The setting is quiet and relaxing, and the hosts are lovely—they took us to see the animals at their farm, which was amazing! I highly recommend it. Nothing to complain about.

The road could have been better; it’s a 20‑kilometre gravel stretch.

The place is huge and far from town, which is exactly what I wanted; the views around the house are pristine, and having some wood around helped a lot. Adele, the owner, was very helpful and communicated well. Thanks for a great stay! The only downside was the 35‑minute gravel drive to get there, but overall we enjoyed it a lot.
