The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable—perfect for what we needed. The outdoor area was nice.

The bed was unbelievably comfortable – I slept through the night without a wobble. The downside was the lack of Wi‑Fi, which made it hard to stay connected, and I wish they'd taken care of the rubbish pickup themselves.

The spot is close to both the town centre and the beach, and the basic amenities are decent enough for a short stay. Unfortunately several appliances failed, there was a stale smell, the Wi‑Fi was spotty (so we missed the soccer game on TV), and the gas fire didn’t work, leaving the room cold on a winter night. Coffee options were limited to old Nescafé packets and a tiny milk sachet, and there were no romantic touches you’d expect for the $360 price tag.

The property looks really pretty and has a lot of untapped potential, which makes the shortcomings feel even more disappointing. I was traveling for a work appointment and only found out after booking which unit I’d get, then struggled with a steep 20‑step staircase – especially when we had to haul our luggage and take out our own trash on checkout.
