The biggest plus was that I could stay for a very low price. I didn’t see any Japanese staff, and the shared space (corridor) was covered in mold and grime, which was very noticeable. It could affect hygiene, so I hope it gets cleaned up quickly.

Just next to Chiba Port Station, you can walk there in under 5 minutes, and Chiba Port Tower is also a quick stroll away; I’d recommend it to anyone heading to Chiba, and getting to Lala Arena is also convenient.

We’ve been using this place every summer for family trips, staying in both a twin room and a semi‑double; the twin’s separate bathroom and toilet were a huge plus, and despite being next to the station the train noise never bothered us, making the nights quiet and comfortable. This year we added breakfast to our reservation, but getting the same boxed meal on both consecutive days felt odd.
