The location was fantastic, surrounded by great cafés, restaurants and street food on a lively street, with the city beach within walking distance; however the air‑conditioning didn’t work, we were moved to another room where the split unit barely coped, making it stifling, the windows were single‑pane glass so heat and noise poured in, we tried to cancel after arriving with our suitcases but were charged four times the app price, the rooms were dirty, furniture worn, the bathroom had mould, and overall price‑to‑value was low with many better options nearby; the first‑floor café had been replaced by a massage salon occupying the whole lobby, the roof pool with jacuzzi was small and dirty, the floors were hot, and the tiny balcony had a dangerous rail made of glued glass.
