“An Irish welcome in rural France”
The host was wonderful and everything ran smoothly; the full Irish breakfast with real irosh sausages felt like home for an Irish man, and there was nothing to complain about.

We received a very warm welcome from Nieve, the owner. The room was perfect and clean, with a large, very comfortable bed, robes, slippers, toiletries, a fruit basket, and a coffee maker. The flat‑screen TV had Netflix. Thank you for the delicious breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade yogurts, and a few Irish specialties. We highly recommend this place.

We were greeted warmly by Nieve and instantly felt relaxed after a stressful trip from Spain. Frank helped us remove the roof box from the car and set the TV channels to English. We appreciated the welcome drink, and after touring the lounge, jacuzzi, and sauna we chose to use both. Extra robes and towels were provided for the sauna, which even had a shower – wow. The best part was that we weren’t charged for those luxuries because we had ordered a delicious meal. Waking up to the smell of bacon and sausages after weeks without an English breakfast was amazing. The Wi‑Fi was easy to connect to; Frank offered help, but my husband, who’s tech‑savvy, used the QR code himself. We slept more than eight hours in the comfy bedding. We’ll book again next year. I almost forgot to mention the fruit basket in the bedroom and that Nieve had even put milk in the mini‑fridge so we could enjoy an early morning cup of tea.

The welcome was perfect, complete with a welcome drink, a pool, a nice barbecue in the evening, and a jacuzzi for relaxation. The room was clean and spacious, making for a perfect night, followed by a hearty breakfast with Irish and French specialties. Huge thanks to Nieve and Franck for their superb hospitality and for pampering us – many thanks to them.
