The hotel’s location is good. We first checked into a room in the courtyard. The courtyard is pretty, and the flowerbed was nice. The breakfast was tasty from 7 to 10. We came back from a walk and a cockroach met us; another appeared before bed. In the morning we were moved to the main building. Everywhere was very noisy. I couldn’t quite figure out the source of the noise, but it kept me from sleeping.

Everything was liked: the breakfast, the staff’s attitude, the room, and the soft bed. Unfortunately there is no elevator to the 3rd floor, and with the luggage up the stairs the staff did not help.

We packed our breakfast for an early train to Samarkand, but the room window facing the street didn’t lock, even though it’s on street level. Still, it seems to be a safe city.
