“Lovely clean place to stay, but would recommend a sea view room for fresh air.”
The décor and cleanliness of the room and the whole hotel were perfect. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location was also spot on for local amenities and pleasant walks. The room was on the inner side of the hotel, facing a courtyard of some sort, which made it a little stuffy even with the window open. The courtyard outside the window seemed to be where pigeons gathered, keeping us awake because we had to sleep with the window open; when it was closed it felt stifling. There also seemed to be some building work on the other side of the courtyard, and we were rudely awakened by very loud, continuous banging at 08.30 am! Having not slept well already, this was disappointing.
