“The food and lobby was nice but our room smelled bad and the AC was not working.”

The location and lobby were lovely, but the AC in our room failed completely and the room smelled like dirty socks all night; it was hot and muggy, the AC was on but did not cool, and the refrigerator was too warm, causing our milk and food to spoil during the single night.

Upon arrival, the AC unit was not functioning and the room was unbearably hot; the unit needed replacement, the new unit froze and blew hot air, forcing me to turn the heat on to thaw it, and the only compensation offered was a free breakfast or lunch— a free night stay would have been more acceptable; I stayed in room 548 and was very displeased.

“Need better communication with the customer service team and customers.”

The front desk person seemed uninterested and not very welcoming. I asked for a room that could accommodate my service animal, but I was not given a suitable space for me or my dog. I had to walk out to the street because the room was told to have a patio that actually led nowhere. The staff claimed that at check‑in but it turned out to be false. Although rooms that could meet my request were available, I couldn’t change my booking after checking in. I’m really disappointed with how I was treated. That’s the only issue I had.
