Breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it was quiet. The only downside was that the neighbor was quieter, so the walls are thin.

The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had, and parking was right in front of the room. On the second day, a noisy family with many children checked into the room that shared a door with ours, so we were moved to a very quiet room, which I really appreciated because I was thinking about leaving Taos and heading home. Still, the door to the adjoining room could use better soundproofing, as we heard all the conversations at 10:30 pm the first night.

I was pleased to find the lodge just a 10‑minute walk from town, and the grounds were lovely. A washer and dryer were available for guests, and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, the section where my room was located felt older and a bit musty, while the newer areas looked nicer.

The breakfasts were wonderful with a Southwest flare—tasty salsas, breakfast burritos, tamales, and more. The staff were very attentive. We arrived late and were offered fresh baked cookies, coffee, and chips with salsa. No complaints.
