Check‑in was easy and the place is close to the town centre; however, the room was very cramped, forcing me to move the bedside unit to make room for my arm; the decor was poor, with chipped walls, a stained ceiling, stained skirting boards, and no curtains—only Venetian blinds that let in light; a strange buzzing sound persisted all night; the TV was hard to use; pillows were terrible; there was no mirror for getting ready; the front door slammed loudly when guests came and went; heating was on in the hallway but off in the bedroom, making it cold and preventing towel drying, though the bed was nice and clean; for the price paid, it was a bargain.
